2018 QATAR CLASSIC SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIP
Since 1992, the State of Qatar has hosted the PSA World Tour’s elite talent at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex. 2018 marked the 15th anniversary of the Qatar Classic.
World #2 Ali Farag overcame one of the toughest draws any champion could endure to capture his 2nd PSA Platinum title. How tough was Farag’s draw?

But just imagine, after a 1st-Round Bye — he defeated the World #9, World #11, World #10, World #4, then Wold #5 to capture the title. That’s a tremendous Platinum run for a surging talent with his sights set on the sport’s top ranking.
Doha has also hosted the sport’s most prestigious tournament, the PSA World Championship in 1998, 2004, 2012 and 2014. Next year, the Qatar PSA Men’s World Championship returns from 8 November to 15 November.
