Originally, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open was a week-1 staple on the ATP Tour, while the QTF staged the WTA’s Qatar Total Open a few weeks following the Australian Open. Today, the tournaments are played back-to-back in February – starting with the Qatar TotalEnergies Open, then the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.
In 2022, Andy Taylor stepped-down from hosting events internationally, but looks forward to returning to the QTF team in 2023.
