Hard to believe – as long as both have been on tour – this was the first meeting between Waller and Mosaad. And Waller owned the moment, completely punishing the Hammer of Thor with his extensive reach and exquisite finishes. After earning a love game in the first, Adrian maintained his intensity, determined to prevent the World #12 from staging a comeback. After just 22-minutes, Waller delivered the upset to earn his Round of 16 debut at the Qatar Classic Squash Championship.

► Last time Waller won a love game against an opponent? His qualifying victory over Joel Makin at the 2016 St. George’s Hill Classic. After losing the first game 6-11, he dominated Makin in game-2 and won the match in four.
