A 3-day weekend in St. Louis – CHEAP!

Today, I am a doctor in St. Louis.

Yesterday, I was a dad discussing how many times his son crapped his pants.

Seriously – This…is the amazing existence of a voice actor.

But while I play Respiratory Therapist Sam Tucker today, up here in Blues, Rams and Cardinal country…I thought I’d take a minute to ask my SWMO neighbors: “Have you ever taken the family up here for a quick weekend getaway?” You should – because you can do it affordably.

Here are some tips: Go to Priceline.com, tell ‘em you only want to spend $50 a night on a hotel room downtown – you’ll get something near the Arch. Wherever you stay, park at the Mansion House garage by the Crown Plaza on 4th – just 3-bucks a night on the weekend. Or park on the street without feeding the meter; they’re free on weekends. Eat at St. Louis landmark “Caleco’s Downtown” – you’ll only spend $100 or more if you have 8-kids. For a couple bucks, you can all ride the Metrolink to Forest Park and enjoy the St. Louis Zoo, the Art and Science Museum, and everything else this historic World’s Fair site has to offer…absolutely free. I’m not kidding – the Zoo…is FREE. It’s huge…and it’ll wear you out.

A family of four from SWMO can enjoy a 3 day weekend in St. Louis for a mere $500…and that’s including gas (about 20% of the budget). All you have to do is book the trip and deal with “are we there yet?” for 3 and a half hours.

Okay…forget spirometers, bronchodilators and BiPAP – Dr. Tucker here’s heading over to work for the Chamber of Commerce…
