Okay…so I thought the way we level our ’89 Winnebago was old-school and antiquated…
But then, this morning, I walked out to the loading dock here at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center…This is a 53′ semi trailer loaded down with millions of dollars worth of audio and video hardware for broadcasters here at the 2011 U.S. Open; and just like we do it at home in the Ozarks, they’re using stacked 2×8’s to level the trailer…
But look at this – NINE LAYERS OF 2×8’s? – Really?! NINE?! The most I’ve ever even attempted to use leveling the Winnie is three. This is remarkable…and I had no idea how cutting edge we really were at home!
