The 2013 US Open saw Rafael Nadal win his second title in Flushing and 13th career Grand Slam Singles title.
In a rematch of last year’s Final with Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams won her 5th US Open title; the 17th Grand Slam Singles title of her career.
Leander Paes won his third US Open Doubles title bringing his career-total to 8 Grand Slam Doubles Championships. His partner, Radek Stepanek, won his second career Grand Slam Doubles title.
Andrea Hlavackova won both the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles titles with partners Lucie Hradecka and Max Mirnyi. It was Mirnyi’s 4th career Grand Slam Mixed Doubles title and third at the US Open.
