Justine Henin captures her second US Open title. Roger Federer makes it four in a row

Federer can't stop winning. Henin conquers NY again in her 3rd Final

In 2007, Roger Federer won his 12th career Grand Slam singles title and 4th consecutive US Open. It was his 51st career win since earning his debut title in Milan six years prior.

Justine Henin returned to the US Open Final for the third time, defeating 2004 Champion Svetlana Kuznetsova. It was Justine’s second US Open title (Champion-2003, Finalist-2005); her 7th and final Grand Slam Singles win.

Sweden’s Simon Aspelin teamed with Austria’s Julian Knowle to win the Doubles title, while the Belarussian pairing of Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka won the Mixed Doubles Championship (Max’s second US Open Mixed Doubles title and 7th Grand Slam Doubles title overall).

France’s Nathalie Dechy defended her US Open Doubles title, pairing with Dinara Safina, who Nathalie defeated in last year’s Championship match.
