Voice artist Andy Taylor has used his voice to earn a living since bailing on a weak attempt at a college education in 1993. Bored out of his mind at Emerson College while working a broadcasting job in Boston, he set out on a radio journey that so many of today’s voice artists also endured.
After spending time in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western Carolina, the open deserts west of Tombstone, and the “antithesis of opulence” along coastal Palm Beach — Andy finally planted stakes in the Missouri Ozarks. Consequently, for 15-years his Morning Show paid the bills, including a highly-rated 10-year run on the legendary KTTS.
Since 2002, Andy has also been known as “The Voice of the US Open” in New York, where he is heard on-site and on television throughout the fortnight of tennis’ final Grand Slam. Today, he emcees and provides voice over for premier sporting events worldwide, including the Olympic Games, the PSA World Tour, World Taekwondo, and Myanmar’s World Lethwei Championship for example.
Fun facts: In 2018, Andy helped Roger Federer raise over $2.5 million to benefit early childhood education in Africa. He also shared the stage with Jerry Springer in a live version of the legendary game show “The Price is Right” for two seasons in Branson, Missouri.
As an independent, non-union voice artist, Andy consistently pursues the growing array of new and innovative voice over opportunities that permeate a rapidly evolving performance and marketing landscape.
Today from his studio in Boston, he creatively teams with global partners to narrate an extensive variety of voice over production, including:
