My thanks to Todd Noonan, he’ll be guest blogging from this year’s Qatar Exxon Mobile Open. This is Todd’s second time working Khalifa Tennis Stadium. In December 2011, he was my stadium director during the Arab Games, and we’ve worked together for years at the U.S. Open in New York. Along with Andrew Krasny, Todd will emcee the initial draw ceremony, introduce the players before “ball-up,” and lead post-match interviews on the court.
Todd’s a hell of guy – huge tennis fan – and always makes me sound like I actually know what I’m talking about at the U.S. Open and during Davis and Fed Cup competition. In fact, we’ll be working together again this February in Jacksonville as the U.S. Davis Cup Team takes on Brazil. Come see us in Florida Super Bowl Weekend!
The floor is yours, Noonan – thanks a million!
