Indian Wells 2014 – Qualifying Day 1

Spent some time at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden today, as the production team gears up for the 2014 BNP Paribas Open. The new Stadium-2, completed in just 10-months and 10-days, is absolutely breathtaking…and a phenomenally intimate arena to enjoy world class tennis. With three restaurants – Nobu, Piero’s PizzaVino and Chop House – plus concessions, even free Brita water stations (to refill your bottles) – the new stadium offers every convenience for the ultimate fan experience. So now, the pressure is on the entertainment production team to over-deliver on the growing expectation of savvy tennis fans who enjoy the annual pilgrimage to this incredible tennis desert oasis.

Truth be told – the entire “Two-Crew” can’t wait! We’re loaded with new bells, whistles, microphones, video-boards, t-shirt canons…and our own DJ! Our responsibility? To keep Stadium-2 rocking, with a non-stop party from first ball-up to the final post-match chat. Sure hope you’ll join us to take a whiff of that “new stadium smell” during your stay at Indian Wells…I can’t think of a better venue to take-in the best in the game.

Here are a few shots from our first day on site with BNP Paribas Open Qualifying matches in progress. A very special thanks to Jelena Jankovic for helping with today’s WTA draw ceremony, allowing the fans themselves to help determine the outcome of the ladies’ draw at this year’s tournament.
